Our founding story and driving passion
After years working in government and observing the evolving landscape of regulations and insurance, it became clear that the public needs more direct information and proactive solutions. Federal funding for fire safety initiatives has dwindled, while regulatory demands and insurance complexities continue to rise. This leaves many homeowners vulnerable, just one large fire away from losing everything.
The stark reality is that local fire departments can be overwhelmed within minutes during major incidents, and mutual aid systems are straining under budget pressures. My personal mission is to inform and empower you to protect your property, because ultimately, your safety can't rely solely on external resources.

Having worked all sides—from conceptual planning and plan review to permitting, inspections, code enforcement, and investigations—I know what truly works and what's merely a knee-jerk reaction. My background as a retired CAL FIRE Battalion Chief and Napa County Fire Marshal, combined with my experience as a General Contractor, offers an unparalleled, well-rounded perspective.
My wildland firefighting service has provided crucial insights into what causes homes to burn and, more importantly, what saves them. This unique blend of experience allows me to educate clients thoroughly, helping them understand the challenges they face, what's on the horizon, and how to achieve compliance, safety, and peace of mind.
